MISSION STATEMENT

The purpose of this monograph series is to provide an international depository of research that identifies, examines, and shares policies and practices that foster equity in education opportunities, economic prospects, and personal well-being for disenfranchised youth around the globe. Volume authors are drawn from a diverse pool of distinguished academicians, practitioners, researchers, community organizers, and corporate administrators working and living in different institutional venues, community environments, and educational settings around the world. Each volume consists of innovative research focused on educational, political, and social policies, mandates, and practices designed to positively influence disenfranchised populations’ access to and success in the global civil society.
